Cafe Supervisor

What you'll be doing:

We're looking for an enthusiastic Café Supervisor to join our dedicated catering team at Nation Railway Museum. As a Café Supervisor, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful Café Supervisor will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with basic food production & preparation, customer service and generally supporting the operations while adhering to all Health and Food Safety requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Being a responsible key holder
• Basic food preparation, counter set up and serving of food and beverages
• Ensuring the highest level of customer care is delivered to clients and customers
• Demonstrating a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations 
• Ensuring correct storage of food items and equipment after service
• Complying with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards 

Our ideal Café Supervisor will be:

• Experienced in supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• A good communicator, able to confidently liaise with customers and colleagues
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Committed to high levels of customer care.
• An enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in a catering environment.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
