Annual Turnover Responsibility: £38 million (Soft FM & Retail Contracts)

Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for driving financial performance in healthcare? We're looking for a dynamic Contract Finance Manager to join our team and take financial ownership of two high-profile contracts in the South region, including the second-largest Soft FM NHS contract managed by Medirest.

This is a pivotal, high-impact role with dual office locations — our Head Office in Chertsey and on-site at the Trust Hospital, with travel between both as business needs arise.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will act as a strategic business partner to the Contract Director, providing insight and challenge to drive cost-effectiveness, service improvement, and commercial growth. You’ll lead a team of 4 on-site finance professionals, ensuring both development and delivery across a wide range of financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of P&L and balance sheet reporting

  • Lead monthly reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis

  • Manage contract risk, working capital, and financial performance

  • Support client tenders and capital expenditure appraisals

  • Drive working capital improvements and net growth opportunities

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across all levels

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE with extensive finance experience

  • Strong business partnering skills — able to influence and challenge

  • High attention to detail, advanced Excel, and analytical capability

  • Commercial mindset with proven ability to improve business outcomes

  • Confident communicator across finance and non-finance teams

  • Team management and mentoring experience

Desirable:

  • Experience in multi-site/multi-contract environments

  • Knowledge of SAP & Cognos

Why Join Us?

  • Work at the heart of one of the most significant NHS Soft FM contracts

  • Play a key role in transforming healthcare support services

  • Influence senior stakeholders and shape strategic decision-making

  • Be part of a passionate, collaborative team focused on excellence and impact

If you're ready to make a difference in healthcare finance and thrive in a dual-location role with real influence, we want to hear from you.
