Senior Finance Assistant

What you'll be doing:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Finance Assistant to join our national finance team based in London. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of finance principles, excellent Excel skills, and a solutions-focused mindset.

In this role, you’ll provide key financial and administrative support across multiple departments, helping to ensure smooth and efficient processes. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to produce reports, analyse data, and contribute to month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input and maintain data across multiple units

• Support month-end activity and assist with financial analysis

• Analyse sales and transaction data to provide insights

• Produce accurate and timely monthly financial reports

• Create presentations and support ad-hoc requests

• Complete general administrative tasks and invoice processing

• Manage weekly agency timesheet reporting

• Monitor and report daily/weekly site occupancy

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of key financial principles

• Proven experience in a finance administrator or similar role

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal

• High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively

• A self-motivated team player with a positive, can-do attitude

• A high standard of personal presentation and professionalism

• A basic understanding of maths and data accuracy
