What you'll be doing:

Chef Manager Millway House-Andover

• £36000 per annum 
• 40 hours per week
• 5 days per week
• Shift Pattern  5 over 7, 

Are you a passionate and experienced Chef looking for a rewarding leadership role in a warm and welcoming environment? We are seeking a Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team in an extra care scheme, ensuring our residents enjoy  delicious meals every day.

Your Role:

• Lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals tailored to residents' needs
• Manage stock and suppliers to ensure fresh ingredients and cost control
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness
• Engage with residents to understand their preferences and enhance their dining experience

What We’re Looking For:

✅ A passionate chef with experience in a leadership role (e.g., Head Chef, Kitchen Manager)

✅ Basic IT skills, including familiarity with email systems, Microsoft Office, and other similar programmes.
✅ Excellent team management and organisational skills
✅ Knowledge of food safety regulations (Level 3 Food Hygiene desirable)
✅ A caring and compassionate approach to food service

Our ideal Catering Manager will:

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Have a minimum of two years of catering experience
• Have experience managing teams in a similar role
• Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
