Location: Wisley RHS Garden
Salary: £12.95 per hour
Contract: Zero-hour, 16-hour, and 40-hour contracts available. Working across venues that have a 7 day a week operation. Weekend and evening work is required.
We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic Kitchen Porters to join our fantastic, fast-paced catering team at RHS Garden Wisley.
Set within 240 acres of stunning gardens, Wisley is open all year round and offers a variety of food outlets, from a busy restaurant to welcoming cafés. You’ll be joining a friendly, hardworking team with a shared goal: delivering exceptional service to every visitor.
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Working behind the scenes, you’ll provide essential support to the wider team while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and ready for service, keeping kitchen and storage areas clean, organised, and safe, assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting chefs with deliveries, stock handling, and rotation, and upholding strict hygiene, health, and food safety standards at all times.
Due to the location of Wisley RHS Garden it is essential that you are able to get to and from site without relying on public transport.

Shifts:
Shifts will vary between Monday to Sunday. Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates should be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends.
