What you'll be doing:
Supervise and support two Kitchen Porters, working closely with the Head Chef and Hospitality Sous Chef.
Help run the daily kitchen operation, serving up to 150 covers per day.
Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and manage inventory to minimise waste.
Support the Head Chef with menu planning and preparation for a busy catering environment.
Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining high standards.
Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and fully compliant with health and safety standards.
Assist with new menu ideas and dishes.
Support food cost control and kitchen budgets.
