Salary: £45,000 + 10% bonus based on exceeding budget

Location: Old Royal Naval College, London

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday with weekend work required based on events, 42.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and motivate a sales team of three, including two Sales Coordinators and one Sales Executive, ensuring targets are achieved and exceptional client service is delivered.
  • Provide strategic leadership across all sales, marketing and communications activities, driving revenue growth and brand visibility.
  • Develop and secure new business opportunities for both internal and external events through proactive networking, client engagement and relationship management.
  • Represent the venue within the events industry, building strong connections and generating bookings from key clients and agencies.
  • Manage the full sales journey from enquiry to confirmation, ensuring a seamless handover and successful event delivery.
  • Drive sales for a diverse portfolio of events, including luxury weddings, corporate gala dinners, award ceremonies, fashion shows and conferences.
  • Oversee the administration and coordination of all event bookings, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and a first-class client experience.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure events are delivered to the highest standards and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends and competitor activity, implementing strategies to maximise revenue and occupancy.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports and business development plans to support commercial objectives.
