Retail Chef De Partie

What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our professional catering team in Canary Wharf, working within a fast-paced retail and contract catering environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food, maintaining exceptional standards and delivering outstanding service in a busy, customer-focused operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard.
• Manage your designated section efficiently during preparation and service.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety.
• Ensure all food is prepared in line with company specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and assist with stock rotation.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an efficient service.
• Contribute ideas to menu development and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
• Experience in contract catering, retail catering, corporate hospitality or a high-volume kitchen is advantageous.
• Passionate about fresh food, quality ingredients and consistent presentation.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A good understanding of food hygiene, allergen management and health and safety procedures.
• A positive attitude, team-player mentality and a genuine passion for hospitality.
