What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and deliver a compelling vision for the contract aligned to Trust priorities.
• Lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and patient experience.
• Bring fresh thinking, industry insight and best practice to drive measurable operational and commercial benefits.

Client Partnership

• Act as the senior Medirest representative across the Trust.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with executive leaders, clinicians and key stakeholders.
• Lead strategic contract planning and support long-term contract retention and growth.

People Leadership

• Inspire and develop a high-performing, inclusive leadership team.
• Create a culture of accountability, engagement, wellbeing and continuous development.
• Champion diversity, inclusion and employee experience across the contract.

Commercial & Financial Performance

• Own full P&L responsibility for a large, complex healthcare contract.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost management and growth initiatives.
• Ensure robust commercial governance and contractual compliance.

Service Excellence

• Provide executive oversight of multiple support services within a busy acute healthcare environment.
• Drive improvements in quality, compliance, patient satisfaction and operational performance.
• Lead governance, risk management and recovery plans where required.

Health, Safety & Sustainability

• Foster a strong safety-first culture.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contractual and company standards.
• Drive sustainability and continuous improvement programmes across the contract.

About You

We're looking for a proven senior leader who can combine strategic thinking with operational excellence.

You'll bring:

• Significant senior leadership experience within a large, complex, multi-stakeholder organisation.
• Proven success leading large operational teams and delivering commercial results.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance and budgets.
• The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at executive level.
• Experience creating high-performing, customer-focused cultures.
• Strong understanding of contract management, governance and commercial risk.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent leadership experience.
